About the center

An international hub—housed at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis—where nurses and partners accelerate AgeTech for aging in place.

Nursing Outlook, 2025

Why the center exists

With a projected doubling of people aged 60+ worldwide by 2050, aging-in-place technologies—smart homes, wearables, telehealth, robotics, and more—are essential.

On March 12–13, 2025, founder Roschelle L. Fritz, PhD, RN, FAAN convened international delegates at UC Davis Health to establish the center.
